Leadership Meeting

2010 Edition - Kick off the year on the right foot!

From August 20-22, 2010, WUSC invites one representative from each Local Committee to attend the Uniterra Leadership Meeting, location TBD. This 'Launch of the Year' event introduces activities as part of Uniterra, gives participants updates on the Student Refugee Program and enables committee members from across Canada to get to know each other. It will be a great opportunity to share ideas and learn from other students involved in Uniterra activities. Participants will learn how to use the resources available to them, and will receive materials to share with their committees on their campuses. They will act as catalysts for change in their own Local Committee.
Each Local Committee is to select ONE (and only one) person to attend this important meeting (transportation, accommodation and meal expenses will be covered).

This representative must:

• Be a returning student;
• Be an active LC member (or committed to starting a LC) in 2010-2011;
• Be available to attend the whole meeting.

NB – Bilingualism is an asset, but not mandatory.

Make sure your Local Committee has all the latest info and tools to kick-off the year! If you haven't already done so, please let us know who will represent your Local Committee as soon as possible.
